I used to exclusively rely on Uber Eats for my takeout meals and occasionally for light grocery shopping. However, I gradually noticed that their prices were increasing at a faster rate than usual. Last week, I had a particularly disappointing experience. I submitted a shopping request, providing the shopper with alternative options in case certain items were unavailable. Unfortunately, despite my clear instructions, the shopper made ridiculous substitutions for my items without even informing me that they couldn't find them. There was very little communication throughout the process, with only brief updates like "starting" and "finished." It's quite a gamble if you're looking for reliable grocery service. While I have had some good shoppers, the majority have been mediocre or bad. I think I'll give Shipt a try more often. Considering the high prices charged by Uber, one would expect them to prioritize their customers and provide better service.

I placed an order on the McDonald's delivery app, but unfortunately, one of the items was missing. I attempted to contact them by calling the provided number, but there was no answer. I then sent a message and eventually managed to get through to them. However, they informed me that they couldn't issue a refund as it had been more than 48 hours since the order was placed. Nowhere did I see any mention of this policy, and the McDonald's delivery app failed to provide this information as well. I even asked if they could offer credit to my UberEats account, but they declined. Overall, it was a frustrating and unhelpful experience.

I placed orders from both Chipotle and Panda Express. The Panda Express order turned out to be fantastic, but unfortunately, the Chipotle order was incorrect, leaving me quite disappointed. I had ordered a bowl, but it was missing four out of the seven ingredients I had requested. Luckily, I had used a promotion which gave me a decent discount, but I would have been quite upset if I had paid the full price for the entire order. This experience has led me to conclude that Uber Eats is not a reliable option, and I have decided to no longer use their services. It seems much better to order directly from the vendor's app and pick up the food myself.

The promotions are absolutely terrible! It's so frustrating that whenever I try to use one to get a £3/4 discount, the total amount ends up being even higher, despite the promotion. The service fee, delivery fee, bag fee, and even breathing fees are just ridiculous. It completely negates the purpose of having a discount in the first place.

Alright, so I recently had Uber cash unlocked on my account for the first time. It amounted to a total of $40. However, I can't seem to locate it anywhere, neither in my wallet nor on my account. I reached out to customer service yesterday, and they assured me that they would get in touch with me via email. Unfortunately, I haven't received any communication from them yet. All I really want is to have my $40 credit, and I'll be a satisfied customer once that's resolved.

From bad to worse, Uber Eats is quickly becoming the absolute worst delivery service out there. They consistently take over an hour to deliver any order and then refuse to assist with incorrect orders. I strongly urge you to discontinue using their delivery services. I do not recommend them at all.

If I had the option to give this company negative stars, I definitely would. I will never use Ubereats again! I placed an order worth $51, but I cancelled it within seconds of placing it. Shockingly, they still charged me $32 for the order. I reached out to their customer service in hopes of getting a refund for the remaining amount, but they flat out refused! The agent I spoke to was incredibly rude and had the audacity to say, "Maybe you shouldn't have ordered in the first place," and claimed that my order was not eligible for a refund. It's absolutely ridiculous! They repeatedly denied my request and essentially stole money from me for a cancelled order that was placed mere seconds ago. Their excuse was that the restaurant had already used ingredients. Seriously? Within seconds? What a pathetic excuse they used just to take my money!

I decided to include an additional item in my order since it was mentioned that there would be no extra fee for delivery or service if I did so. However, to my disappointment, I was still billed for both the service and delivery charges on both orders. It's quite deceitful to assure customers that they won't be charged, only to end up charging them anyway. This is definitely a way to lose a customer.

I'm absolutely certain that I will never use this service again. I placed an order for food and the initial estimated delivery time was 12:05 am, but it kept changing repeatedly to 12:10, 12:15, 12:20, 12:30, 12:35, and so forth. There was no communication regarding the delay, no explanation provided, and no refund offered. I intend to file a complaint about this experience on TS. I don't hold the restaurant responsible; rather, I attribute the constant inaccurate delivery estimates to the Uber app.

I utilized the app as per their instructions to report the missing food, and in response, I received an apology along with a promise to refund me GBP1.32 instead of the actual cost of the missing food! Can you believe this? It feels like a joke. Unfortunately, there seems to be no means of contacting Uber Eats customer service other than the app, which has now become unresponsive.
